Powerful Tools for Caregivers Classes Available This Fall

Register Early!

The Tompkins County Office for the Aging is once again offering Powerful Tools for Caregivers, a six-week educational program designed to provide you with the tools you need to take care of yourself.  You will learn to reduce stress, improve self-confidence, be better able to communicate your feelings, increase your ability to make difficult decisions and also connect  to local services. 

This program consists of six 90 minute sessions held weekly and free of charge to caregivers.  These classes are not intended for professional caregivers.

Classes will be held on Wednesdays, September 30-November 4th from 10:30-Noon at the Tompkins County Office for the Aging, 214 West MLK/State St., Ithaca, NY.  Pre-registration is required.  Please call the Tompkins County Office for the Aging at 274-5482 to register or for more information.
